The Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Music Department's traveled to Washington in April to take part in a “Festivals of Music” competition. The musicians picked up many "excellent" and "superior" ratings, and two ensembles were best-in-show in their categories: the Men's Choir, which was named Best Overall Choir, and the Moonglowers, honored as Best Overall Jazz Ensemble.
