Photos Wanted! Videos Too!

The Winter Choral Concert? Moonglowers and Sensations at the Mayor's Gala? The Chamber Choir at the Scotch Plains Library and the Fanwood tree lighting ceremony?

Did that just happen? Were you there? Did you take any photos or videos, or know someone who did?

If so, we'd love to add them to this site, our ongoing visual record of the SPFHS music programs. Please e-mail Dan with pictures, links, or to ask for instructions on uploading them.

Help us build our video collection

Videos featured on this site include some recorded by band parent Dan Murphy and others found at other web sites and re-posted here. We hope to add many more, and welcome the help of any and all members of the SPFHS Music community. If you have video of SPFHS music performances, whether recent or from years past, please contribute them to this collection. The simplest way to do so is to post them on YouTube or another video-hosting site and send us a link or embed code. Or, contact Dan for other ways to share.

Also be sure to check out the videos on SPTV?

Moonglowers at Race for the Cure

The Moonglowers provided entertainment at the 2011 Komen Greater New York Race for the Cure at Central Park on Sept. 18. Courtesy of Jay Tepper, we have a new album of photos from that event.

More photos added to 2011 States album

2011 States

Another 29 photos have been added to our "2011 States" album. Thanks to the new contributions from Jay Tepper, we now have the USSBA New Jersey State competition covered from three different angles, and from the pre-show warm-ups through the awards ceremony. Marching band - and beyond!

The conclusion of the 2011 Marching Band season, Allentown, Nov. 13

Started as a collection of SPFHS Marching Band photos, this site is now expanding.

At the suggestion of other members of the SPFHS Music community, this page is now welcoming contributions of photos -- and videos -- of all Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School music groups.

To get things started... the photo at the top of the page is now from the 2011 Musicfest last April. Below is a shot from the 2011 Spring Choral Concert in May. There's a brief clip from the finale of that show on our new Video page. And a few pictures from the 2011 Spring and 2010 Winter Choral Concerts have been added to our photo collection.

The goal is to build up this site as an ongoing visual record of our school’s excellent music programs, with as many images from as many camera-carrying musicians, family members, boosters and friends as possible.

Please help build our collection! And thanks for your support.
