Marching Band competes at South Plainfield - Photos

The marching band achieved its highest score so far this season in competition at South Plainfield HS on Saturday.


It was the first of two competitions for the band that day. A few hours later, the students performed at Hillsborough HS. (See photos and video from Hillsborough.)

Marching Band at Yamaha Cup 10/5/2013 - Photos

The marching band made its first of two appearances this year at MetLife Stadium on Oct. 5, performing in USSBA's annual Yamaha Cup competition.



Band parent Dev Anjaria has shared an album of his photos from the performance - mostly wide shots showing the band's formations on the field. Click here to see it - and be sure to watch the slideshow, complete with soundtrack!



Here's the "backstage view" - photos taken by band parent and pit crew member Dan Murphy in the stadium parking lot as the students prepared for the show.



The band will return to MetLife (site of the 2014 Super Bowl) on Nov. 9 for this year's USSBA National competition.
